Marian Enochs Gay

Marian Enochs Gay is a certified Natural Dreamwork practitioner offering a contemplative approach to dreams as a path to soul. She is devoted to helping dreamers deepen their relationship with their own dreams. Her own dreamwork path began with Natural Dreamwork founder Rodger Kamenetz in 2009 and she has worked with clients since 2014.  She has given workshops and presentations on dreams and dreamwork and currently edits the Natural Dream blog.

Marian feels a deep connection to poetry and to the way images in poems and dreams nourish one another.  She takes part in a contemplative community and finds these practices interweave closely with dreams and dreamwork for her.

In her words: “I’m grateful for the privilege of guiding dreamers to experience their dreams directly and to feel the healing effects in their waking lives. When dreamers encounter their own depths of imagination and feeling and begin to align with soul or true self, I feel awe. Natural Dreamwork still feels for me as fresh and alive as the first day.  Our dreams are always inviting us into what wants to be born in us now and offering us freedom from old patterns. To be guided by a greater source is a gift dreams bring us each night. This can help us feel supported and loved and not alone even in difficult times.”

Marian offers individual sessions in person in the New Orleans area, and anywhere through phone or video conference.

Threshold Moments in Dreams

Our dreams offer threshold moments all our lives, unique invitations of soul. These moments invite us into embodied presence and can help us align with who we truly are. Our dreams also bring light to the ways we hesitate and get caught in conditioned patterns.

Dreams and the Sound of Voice

When we hear the voice of someone we love, the felt sense so particular to that person, this can affect us deeply. It’s like music our heart is attuned to, which has become part of us.We can feel this in our dreams. The experience of voice, its sound and tone and quality, is one of the ways dreams can bring us healing and open our hearts to connection.

When Our Dreams Bring Humor

Our dreams are astoundingly creative in finding ways to reach us and evoke the aliveness of our feelings, such as fear, awe, love, joy, and pain. At times our dreams can also make us laugh, and this invites our attention. Humor and playfulness can help us feel truths of the soul in a fresh way.
