Biography:  Rodger Kamenetz is the author of eleven books of poetry and prose, including The Jew in the Lotus, The History of Last Night’s Dream, The Lowercase Jew and To Die Next To You.

Professor Emeritus of English and Religious Studies at LSU, he lives and works in New Orleans with clients seeking spiritual direction from dreams. 

He is the winner of the National Jewish Book Award for Jewish Thought. His work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The New Republic, The Daily Beast and Tikkun.
